Tamdhu is a distinguished Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery, established in 1897 and located in the village of Knockando in Banffshire, Scotland. The distillery has experienced several periods of closure and reopening, most recently resuming operations in 2013 under the ownership of Ian Macleod Distillers. Tamdhu is known for its commitment to maturation in sherry oak casks, which imparts a deep, rich flavor and color to its whiskies.
