The independent Cognac house of Grosperrin is a relatively new one in the region, having only been established in 1999 by its founder, Jean Grosperrin. Guilhelm’s mission is to discover producers all across the region in order to create truly unique Cognacs from the six crus. Today, Grosperrin works with over 150 Cognac producers, from which Guilhelm will meticulously select barrels to craft into exquisite end bottles.
Authentic cognacs with a remarkable origin. Like a truly great wine or a vintage champagne, these cognacs have come about through exceptional circumstances. They have been gently matured to enhance the characteristics of their terroir and underline their rarity.
Nose:
On the nose, notes of peach skin, apricots.
Palate:
In the mouth, the freshness and the naturalness of this Cognac are striking. We find these fruity notes, but they are prolonged by more complex aromas, like those of a bouquet of dried flowers forgotten on a table on a summer day.
Finish:
The finish amplifies these floral notes (daffodil, narcissus), quickly covered by more obvious notes of grapes, orange zest and fresh spices.
