Hoodoo Rum has a beautiful citrus aroma with hints of orange and marula. It is then beautifully brought together with sweeter aspects such as caramel, vanilla, coconut and honey. Hoodoo is then aged using french oak, resulting in a very smooth lingering finish. Hoodoo is a sipping rum and is therefore meant to be drank on the rocks, however it mixes extremely well with the likes of Coke and Ginger Ale, and is incredible in various cocktails.
Nose:
Bright and inviting, with fresh citrus (orange) and marula intertwining with sweet coconut and vanilla undertones.
Palate:
Rich and creamy, marrying caramel, honey, coconut, and vanilla flavours, all underpinned by the gentle oak influence from French oak aging.
Finish:
Smooth, lingering, and comforting soft oak warmth lingers, complemented by residual caramel and honeyed sweetness.
