Cognac Grande Champagne 1270

On the nose, the Cognac is very floral, with notes of dried flower potpourri, along with hints of violet and dried rose petal and some dried fruit. There are notes of toasty oak and, remarkably for a relatively young Cognac, hints of leather.

On the palate, the Cognac is smooth, with notes of caramel and dried fruit, along with some vanilla and a bit of cinnamon and tropical spices. As the Cognac opens up, notes of apple and pear, along with some milk chocolate notes, emerge.

The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering dried fruit sweetness accompanied by a caramel note.

aking craftsmanship to the highest levels of excellence, Frapin’s style embodies the very essence of Cognac. The whole estate, including 240ha of vineyards, lies in the Grande Champagne area which is regarded as Cognac’s best appellation.
