Vincent Careme
Domaine Vincent Carême is a distinguished organic winery located in Vernou-sur-Brenne, within the Vouvray appellation of the Loire Valley, France. Established in 1999 by Vincent Carême, a first-generation winemaker from a cereal farming family, the estate has become a leading force in the revitalization of Vouvray wines. Vincent's journey into winemaking began at the age of 14 under his grandfather's guidance, and after completing his viticulture studies, he gained practical experience before founding his own domaine.
Description
A beautifully balanced moelleux that combines richness with freshness. Aromas of baked apple, white peach, apricot, quince, acacia honey and floral notes unfold on the nose. The palate is generous yet energetic, showing fine, "airy sugars" that are lifted by a wet chalky soil minerality and supported by bright acidity. The finish is long, uplifting and elegantly spiced, avoiding any cloying sweetness.

Pairs perfectly with pork roast, blue cheeses, fruit-based desserts, chicken tagine with preserved lemon, shrimp dishes or fresh fruit salad.
