Vouvray Le Peu Morier

Its depth and mineral backbone make this wine a superb match for richer dishes such as roast guinea fowl, lobster, veal with cream sauce, or aged goat’s cheese. It also pairs beautifully with earthy mushroom-based dishes and shellfish.

Le Peu Morier is Vincent’s first vineyard-designated bottling, sourced from a steep, 70+ year-old block of Chenin Blanc. The vines grow on rich flint and limestone soils that amplify the site’s intensity and mineral signature. As with all his vineyards, farming is certified organic and highly focused on soil health and balance.

The grapes from this exceptional site are harvested by hand and vinified with natural yeasts. The wine is matured for one year in French oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop texture and depth without masking the purity of the fruit or terroir.

Domaine Vincent Carême is a distinguished organic winery located in Vernou-sur-Brenne, within the Vouvray appellation of the Loire Valley, France. Established in 1999 by Vincent Carême, a first-generation winemaker from a cereal farming family, the estate has become a leading force in the revitalization of Vouvray wines. Vincent's journey into winemaking began at the age of 14 under his grandfather's guidance, and after completing his viticulture studies, he gained practical experience before founding his own domaine.
