Following fermentation, the wine spent four months in stainless steel tanks with oak stave contact before being matured for 21 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels. The wine was bottled on the estate.

Whole berries were cold-soaked for three days before fermentation commenced in open-top fermenters, with regular hand punch-downs to ensure gentle extraction of colour and flavour. Alcoholic fermentation lasted 29 days, allowing for optimal development of structure and complexity.
