The grapes for The Mira Shiraz are sourced from vineyards situated on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain in Stellenbosch, South Africa. These vineyards are located at altitudes ranging from 260 to 620 meters above sea level, benefiting from a cool microclimate and mineral-rich soils. The proximity to the ocean allows for slow ripening of the grapes, resulting in wines with intense flavors and elegant structure.

The Mira Shiraz is matured in French oak barrels for a period to develop its depth and character. This aging process contributes to the wine's balanced tannins and long finish.​

After careful hand-harvesting, the grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured in French oak barrels to enhance its complexity and structure. The use of oak aging imparts subtle notes of vanilla and spice, complementing the wine's fruit-forward profile.
