Description
Colour: Light garnet. Nose: An immediately alluring and finely drawn aromatic profile, opening on pastel shades of red fruit and black cherry, layered with a subtle earthy undertone. Creamy, savoury nuances of cranberry add depth, while a distinctive graphite and river-stone flintiness lends mineral tension. With air, a lifted, almost sherbet-like note brings freshness, framed by floral and perfumed tones of rose water that enhance the wine’s elegance. Palate: The palate shows lovely purity and focus, with concentrated yet clean red fruit character, led by cranberry and fresh cherry. The texture is delicate and finely tuned, revealing subtle notes of tobacco leaf and gentle herbal inflections. Fine-grained, powdery tannins shape the wine with quiet authority, supported by well-balanced acidity that carries the flavours with precision and poise through to a long, harmonious finish. A wine of real finesse, elegance and structure, it promises to evolve gracefully over the next decade.
