Schenkfontein

Schenkfontein is a family-owned and operated private cellar, situated near Piketberg in the Swartland. The farm Schenkfontein originated on 9 December 1992, when a portion of the old Winkelshoek family farm was sold to Hennie Hanekom, who was to set out on a venture of his own. The farm consists of about 153ha of which only 23 consist of vineyards. The first certified wines under the Schenkfontein label were produced in 2014 with the opening of its tasting room following five years later.
