Description
Deep ruby hues are followed by enticing aromas of dark fruits, such as blackberries, plums, and black cherries, accompanied by subtle hints of fresh herbs, and a whisper of violet. As the wine opens, secondary notes of vanilla, tobacco, and a touch of leather emerge, adding complexity and depth to the aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with a velvety texture that effortlessly carries the rich fruit flavours. Black currant, ripe plum, and dark cherry dominate, with underlying notes of dark chocolate and mocha. The well-integrated tannins provide structure and balance, leading to a smooth and lingering finish marked by hints of spice and a gentle oak influence.
