The 2025 season was cooler than 2024, with above-average winter rainfall giving way to a near-five-month dry spell from September. Consistently low night temperatures kept ripening slow and even, yielding a fresher, more floral expression than 2024. The fruit comes from two vineyards on the farm: around 60% from a block planted to Semillon in 2004 and grafted to Chenin Blanc in 2016, and the remainder from a bushvine vineyard planted in 2018.

The wine was fermented and matured in older 400- and 500-litre barrels, spending nine months on its lees before blending and bottling.

All fruit was whole-bunch pressed and 100% wild-fermented.
