Neethlingshof Estate
Neethlingshof Estate has a long and rich tradition of wine making in Stellenbosch, the second oldest and most premier wine producing area of South Africa. The Estate occupies an incredibly privileged site with ideal natural conditions, soils, slopes, altitudes and climate to produce a variety of great wines. All the grapes for the Neethlingshof wines are grown on the estate and all the wine is made, matured and bottled in the cellars of the estate.
Description
Deep ruby in color, this 100 % Pinotage presents rich black fruit—black plum, blackberry, blueberry—layered with mocha, dark chocolate, toasted coconut, and subtle spices. Fine, chalky tannins support a long, structured, earthy finish with hints of white pepper and charred wood .
Food Pairing
Pairs beautifully with grilled or braised red meats (lamb, venison, oxtail), hearty curries, and aged cheeses like Cheddar or Gruyère. Also excellent with eggplant dishes or dark-chocolate desserts .
