Description
On the nose: The bouquet is reminiscence of brighter red fruit with black pepper spice and a hint of cloves. On the palate: A delicious example of young Cabernet Franc. The palate is sumptuously smooth with fine tannins that add an extra dimension to a very fruit driven experience.
Food Pairing
Cabernet Franc’s liveliness makes it an excellent food partner. Friendly, inviting and accessible, it pairs wonderfully well with red meat dishes, roasted lamb cutlets and greens or a lemon and herd chicken with mielie pap and smoor. The hint of spice will also pair beautifully with dark chocolate desserts.
