Fragrantly superb on its own, this wine also pairs well with rich food such as prime cut of beef accompanied by a rich sauce and is wonderful with risotto ai quattro formaggi. It complements wild mushrooms, mature cheeses, dark cacao chocolate and something sweet.

Moderate weather throughout the season and during harvest time resulted in slow ripening grapes that developed exceptional colour and flavour. This slow & steady harvest allowed for picking of the grapes at their ideal ripening stage. Great for primary aromas and development of berries to produce outstanding quality.

18 months in French oak barrels with 5% being in new oak, 15% in second fill, 60% in third fill and 20% in fourth fill barrels. Bottled on the 1st of August 2022.
