Description
On the Nose: This benchmark Nebbiolo is expressive and layered with lifted aromas of bergamot and sour cherries at the forefront. Subtle notes of thyme and liquorice as well as a spice sweetness of cinnamon, nutmeg and hints of cloves. On the Palate: Flavours are complex, lingering and enticing brought together with sweet strawberry and a cherry acidity zing. The palate is well-rounded, yet structured, with fine, chalky tannins that lend texture and elegance. A persistent finish highlights the wine’s balance and purity, reflecting both varietal character and elegance.
Food Pairing
Fragrantly superb on its own, this wine also pairs well with rich food such as prime cut of beef accompanied by a rich sauce and is wonderful with risotto ai quattro formaggi. It complements wild mushrooms, mature cheeses, dark cacao chocolate and something sweet.
