Raphaela is a lover of all things wine and words. She has passed WSET Level 2 with distinction, is a graduate of the UCT GSB Business of Wine and Michael Fridjhon Judging Academy, was named Veritas Young Wine Writer of the Year in 2019, one of WineLand Media’s 30 under 30 in 2020, and is the author of wine blog Raphly Paired. She’s done everything from tour guiding, wine sales, a vintage in Australia, and academic research and creative directing for strategy agency Collectivantage. Having survived off bottom-shelf wine whilst backpacking through Europe (it was a dark time) and fallen off motorbikes in search of ruou in Vietnam, there's not much Raphaela won't do to get a good glass of wine.
