Ideal winter conditions with good rainfall contributed to an even growth and provided an excellent foundation. Budbreak was consistently good and even. During harvest time, a cool season and moderate weather conditions resulted in slow ripening grapes, which gave vines the opportunity to develop exceptional flavour and colour. Picking of the grapes at their ideal ripening stage contributed to great primary aromas and development of berries to produce outstanding quality.

8 months in French oak barrels with 25% being in new oak, 25% in second fill and 50% in third fill barrels.
