Record rains in August and November 2013 were followed by normal summer temperatures and really cold evenings. A nice pre-harvest rain in January lifted the freshness of the vines with further sprinklings throughout harvest. With an early ripening we could take off our grapes before the big rains at the beginning of April.

Primary fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks and the cap was macerated with gentle punch downs as well as remontage. The wine was left on the skins for some post fermentation maceration for a further 10-14 days, then underwent malolactic fermentation in 300 liter barrels.
