This wine will be able to handle big structured meat dishes, but also try it with subtly flavoured meals like roast duck, poultry and ostrich served with a side of salad and a well-aged balsamic dressing. It is also a great match with wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil and a rocket and basil salad, or roast lamb with black olive paste.

We will remember the 2015 season as one of the driest and earliest in years. A somewhat smaller wine grape harvest promising exceptional wines. Warm weather in August resulted in earlier bud break, after which a warm, dry and windy summer kept vineyard growth under control and accelerated ripening. Lower temperatures at night in february contributed towards good colour and flavour in especially the red cultivars. Although somewhat smaller, this was one of the best, if not the best, harvest in years.

18 months in French oak with 25% being in new oak, 15% in second fill barrels and rest in third fill barrels.
