Description
Aromas of dark fruit including blackberries and cassis are picked up on the palate. Undertones of pencil shavings and graphite add to the complexity of the wine. Tannins are well integrated and result in a lingering balance between fruit and spice.
Food Pairing
It's a great choice with nearly all red meat dishes including beef short ribs and rosemary braised lamb shanks. A little splash of Cabernet Sauvignon into your slow braised beef does wonders for flavour and complexity. This wine is the perfect accompaniment to any dinner party.
