Domaine Michel Bouzereau
The Bouzereau family has been living in Meursault for seven generations to cultivate vines there. Over the years and thanks to his work, Michel enlarged the vineyard inherited from his father. Jean-Baptiste, his son, joined him on the estate twenty years later: he learned the trade at his side for ten years and together they acquired some prestigious plots. In 1999, Michel left it to Jean-Baptiste to manage the family property of 10.5 hectares with the same passion. In 2008, always keen to improve the quality of the wines, he decided to build a new structure and, since the 2009 harvest, the entire farm is located at 5, rue Robert Thénard, still in the center of the village of Meursault.
Description
"Very ripe though again reasonably fresh aromas of black cherry coulis and warm earth are trimmed in a mentholated top note. The slightly finer and quite concentrated flavors possess good power while displaying evident warmth though less than the indicated alcohol level would typically suggest." Neal Martin
Food Pairing
Pairs well with quail stuffed with morels, beef tenderloin with mushrooms.
