Meursault Les Tessons

This Meursault pairs beautifully with dishes such as scallop tartare with green asparagus tips, veal sweetbreads, or a creamy poultry dish with chanterelles. Its balance of richness and acidity complements both seafood and white meats.

Sourced from a 0.5-hectare parcel in Meursault, the vineyard features vines planted between 1958 and 1989. Situated above Les Grands Charrons, the east-facing slope benefits from clay-limestone soils and excellent drainage. The vineyard is managed with sustainable practices, incorporating certain biodynamic principles to maintain vine vitality.

16 to 18 months in barrels (25 % new barrels)

Grapes are hand-harvested and undergo traditional, low-intervention vinification. The wine is aged for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, with approximately 25% new oak, allowing for a balance between oak influence and the expression of terroir.

The Bouzereau family has been living in Meursault for seven generations to cultivate vines there. Over the years and thanks to his work, Michel enlarged the vineyard inherited from his father. Jean-Baptiste, his son, joined him on the estate twenty years later: he learned the trade at his side for ten years and together they acquired some prestigious plots. In 1999, Michel left it to Jean-Baptiste to manage the family property of 10.5 hectares with the same passion. In 2008, always keen to improve the quality of the wines, he decided to build a new structure and, since the 2009 harvest, the entire farm is located at 5, rue Robert Thénard, still in the center of the village of Meursault.
