Katja Leinberger and Marcel Hartman have a background in aesthetics, wine and hospitality. The love for beautiful wine comes naturally in such an environment. Our contacts with farms and winemakers made it possible to make our dream of having our wine a reality. The wines that bear the Bothey name are all premium wines that we are happy to drink ourselves every day. They show their true heritage and terroir by making them with minimal intervention. We are very fortunate to work with some of the top winemakers of South Africa.
Description
Lemongrass, melon and fruit salad nose. A whiff of ginger, fresh Granny Smith apple. Clean and fresh palate with medium acidity and visible honey notes. Elegant and refreshing.
Food Pairing
Ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood (such as oysters or grilled prawns), creamy pastas, soft cheeses, and fresh salads. Its acidity and fruit balance work wonderfully with light, flavourful dishes.
