Katja Leinberger and Marcel Hartman have a background in aesthetics, wine and hospitality. The love for beautiful wine comes naturally in such an environment. Our contacts with farms and winemakers made it possible to make our dream of having our wine a reality. The wines that bear the Bothey name are all premium wines that we are happy to drink ourselves every day. They show their true heritage and terroir by making them with minimal intervention. We are very fortunate to work with some of the top winemakers of South Africa.
Description
A bright, pale-hued Grenache showing lifted aromas of sour cherry, Indian plum, cranberry, and fresh raspberry. Delicate floral tones add elegance, while the palate is light-footed yet vibrant, carried by lively acidity. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a refined, lingering aftertaste.
