Jean Engelbrecht along with his friends Dillie Malherbe and Jannie Durand set out to create a wine that would not only embody all that is Stellenbosch but that would also pay homage to this great town at the heart of the Cape winelands. Each wine in this range pays tribute to an historical landmark in Stellenbosch.
Description
A fresh, expressive Chenin Blanc with a clear focus on fruit purity and balance. The nose shows ripe pear, yellow apple and hints of stone fruit, supported by subtle floral notes. The palate is medium bodied with lively acidity, a gentle creamy texture and a clean, dry finish that highlights the variety’s natural versatility and drinkability.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with grilled chicken, seafood, salads and lightly spiced dishes. Its bright acidity and balanced profile also make it suitable as an aperitif.
