Riesling

Riesling is mostly identified by the intense aromas which the wines produce. Primarily the aromas are those of stone fruit, apple and pear with elements of honeycomb, jasmine and something akin to petroleum wax (far more palatable than it may sound). Another defining characteristic of a Riesling is its high acidity which is why most are generally found on the sweeter end of the wine spectrum.
