Awaken the Arcade Wire Frame Skin Contact Riesling & Sauvignon Blanc

Thai green curry with prawns or tofu. Roast chicken with preserved lemon and herbs. Pork belly with apple and fennel

A distinctive blend of cool-climate Riesling from the high-altitude slopes of Elgin and skin-contact Sauvignon Blanc grown on the mountain above Napier in the Overberg.

The Riesling was whole-bunch pressed, naturally settled and cold fermented in stainless steel before fermentation was stopped early to retain a touch of residual sweetness and tension. The Sauvignon Blanc spent 10 days on skins before completing fermentation and full malolactic fermentation in neutral French oak barrels, where it matured for seven months.

The focus is beautiful in its simplicity – to craft unique, intriguing, and unusually delicious wine from a small, distinct corner of the universe. We want to make wine that is enjoyable in youth, but capable of being enjoyed for many decades to come. It begins with understanding and loving our land, being sensitive to the long-term needs of our vines, and treating our grapes with the utmost respect and care in the Estate winery.
