Paulina's Reserve Old Vine Cinsault

The grapes are from a farm in Paarl called Otterkuil, the 2.65ha bush vine vineyard was planted in 1954 and is certified with the Old Vine Project

Maturation took place in older oak for 12 months.

The grapes were destemmed and kept as whole berries. We added dried out left-over stems back into the tank (5%), with a view to achieve more perfumed aromatics. Punch downs took place twice daily.

Rickety Bridge Winery is an historic Franschhoek wine estate. Situated in the renowned Franschhoek valley the food and wine capital of South Africa the Rickety Bridge winery and Country Manor House nestle against the hillside overlooking vineyards and the majestic Wemmershoek Mountains. The land dates back to 1694 when the farms were granted to the first French Huguenots who settled in the area.
