Regna Loca Chenin Blanc

Pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, roast chicken, pork belly and creamy pasta dishes. The wine's richness and freshness also complement shellfish, soft-ripened cheeses and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.

The 2025 vintage was marked by record-breaking winter rainfall, replenishing soil moisture reserves ahead of the growing season. A dry spring and summer kept disease pressure low, while cooler ripening conditions throughout harvest allowed for slow, even fruit development. The result was grapes of exceptional balance, purity, and aromatic intensity. Sourced from old dryland bushvines, these Chenin Blanc vineyards are meticulously maintained with healthy canopies. The open goblet shape of the vines promotes ideal air circulation, reducing disease risk and aiding in optimal ripening. As dryland sites, quality is closely tied to rainfall, making the abundant winter water of 2024 particularly beneficial.

The wine matured for 10 months.

The grapes were 100% whole-bunch pressed before undergoing natural settling. Fermentation took place in a combination of amphora and barrels, adding texture and complexity while preserving the wine’s varietal expression.
