A rich yellow stone fruit nose is followed by zesty, limey primary fruit flavours, and richer, aromatic mandarin and peach top notes. The wine has a lingering, fresh lemony finish and will age for 6 to 9 years.

Only the free-run juice from the fruit that was harvested was drawn off for use in this blend. The two Chenin Blanc components were vinified separately to create the balance of fruit and aromatics sought after in the blend. The first lot was divided into wine fermented in stainless steel tanks and 300ltr barrels. The second lot of Chenin Blanc was fermented in an open tank fermenter with extended skin contact and twice daily punch downs were conducted for one month during fermentation. Once fermentation was complete, the wines were blended before bottling.
