Perdeberg Cellar
Perdeberg Cellar is a Paarl producer based near the Paardeberg Mountain, with a strong focus on dryland bush vines. Established in 1941, the cellar is known for Chenin Blanc, Pinotage and accessible South African wines shaped by low-yielding vineyards, concentrated fruit and a long-standing regional footprint.
Description
This unwooded wine is fine display of the ability of bush vine Chenin Blanc, grown under dry land conditions to create intensely flavoured and succulent wines. These stressful conditions result insmaller berries with a lower skin to juice ratio, producing high quality wines. Pear, lime, grapefruit and granadilla notes are all prominent on a very voluptuous and generous nose. The palate is rich, pure and well defined, amplifying hint of pineapple, citrus, mango and litchi. Indulge yourself now or mature to experience the unique potential of this wine.
Food Pairing
Enjoy with smoked mackerel, lamb stew, chicken curry
