Ideal pairings include robust dishes like red meat, oxtail, casseroles, game, and hearty pizzas or pasta dishes. The wine's rich fruit and subtle oak notes complement these savory, slow-cooked meals​.

The grapes for this vintage were sourced from vineyards located across the Western Cape, South Africa. These sites provide a variety of microclimates and soil types, contributing to the wine’s complexity. The vineyards are managed in collaboration with local grape growers to ensure high-quality fruit production​.

Post-fermentation, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation and was matured with French oak contact for around nine months​.

Grapes were harvested by hand and machine between February and March, with ripeness levels at 23-25° Balling. The fruit was fermented on the skins in stainless steel tanks for 10 to 14 days at controlled temperatures of 25-28°C.
