Description
Block W was harvested at a low sugar degree of approximately 21,5 Balling ensuring superbly balanced acidity from these dry- farmed bush vines. Once again this block shows why it is so special. Tightly wound, energetic and with scintillating acidity, it is evolving beautifully in bottle. Subtle stone fruit aromatics are re-iterated on the palate, and there is the usual salinity and mineral acidity we’ve come to expect from this vineyard. The wine has wonderful concentration of flavours- complex and nuanced at the same time. The backbone of the wine is a nervy acidity that tingles with energy, providing length and vitality.
