Hand-harvested grapes are crushed and destemmed into stainless steel tanks for fermentation, inoculated with biodynamic yeast to preserve the vineyard's terroir character. Post-fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then transferred to 300L barrels, where it ages for 16 to 18 months. After blending, the wine is matured further in concrete tanks before bottling​.

The grapes are sourced from unirrigated bush vines planted in 1995 and 1997, growing in Koffieklip and weathered granite soils. These old vines yield between 4.2 to 6 tons per hectare, providing concentrated fruit​.
