On the palate, the Elena Walch Pinot Noir Ludwig captivates through its elegance, pleasingly soft tannins, filigreed structure, discreet spiciness, and a profoundly refined interplay of aromas, juiciness and minerality against a backdrop of black cherry, blackberry fruit and delicate accents of dried thyme, anise and iron. The finish is invitingly fresh and long.
