Domaine Michel Bouzereau
The Bouzereau family has been living in Meursault for seven generations to cultivate vines there. Over the years and thanks to his work, Michel enlarged the vineyard inherited from his father. Jean-Baptiste, his son, joined him on the estate twenty years later: he learned the trade at his side for ten years and together they acquired some prestigious plots. In 1999, Michel left it to Jean-Baptiste to manage the family property of 10.5 hectares with the same passion. In 2008, always keen to improve the quality of the wines, he decided to build a new structure and, since the 2009 harvest, the entire farm is located at 5, rue Robert Thénard, still in the center of the village of Meursault.
Description
"A slightly riper nose features notes of both white and yellow orchard fruit, citrus confit and whiffs of anise and acacia blossom. There is excellent volume and underlying tension to the delicious medium-bodied flavors that conclude in a bone-dry and sneaky long finish that is sufficiently firm to indicate that close to a decade of keeping will be required if you wish to see this at its peak. Lovely." Burghound
Food Pairing
Pairs well with pan-fried langoustines, monkfish tail in a bisque and salmon with coconut milk and lemongrass
