Cederberg
Cederberg is a high-altitude wine estate in the remote Cederberg Wilderness Area, owned by the Nieuwoudt family for generations. With vineyards surrounded by rugged mountain terrain, the estate is known for Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and other South African wines shaped by altitude, isolation and dramatic growing conditions.
Description
A golden straw hue with a gentle, persistent mousse exploding on the surface of the glass. Aromas of apple blossoms and cut red apple on the nose with an edge of lemon curd on the palate to create vibrancy and depth of flavour. Made from 100% Chardonnay – at its refreshing, elegant best! Allow to mature in the bottle for additional nutty complexity.
Food Pairing
This Cap Classique is delicious as a refreshing welcome drink or enjoy it solo at a party as your ‘drink of choice’. This bubbly is brilliant as an aperitif or served with seafood-based canapés, freshly shucked oysters or sushi. But who needs food if you have this bubbly!
