Description
Deeply alluring and seductive black fruit, violet, spice, tobacco leaf and cocoa aromatics. Velvety, supple and sleek in the mouth, all of the above flavours can be found on this wonderfully cohesive and multifaceted palate reminiscent of a Black Forest Gateaux. Rich and effortlessly sophisticated and complex, the overall impression is one of silkiness and polished texture that knits with the ripe fruited generosity – courtesy of a good vintage year. Nonetheless, it is structured and powerful but that muscularity is leashed and reined in. Deceptively easy to drink and enjoy now, it’s made for the long haul.
