Constantia is the birthplace of South African wine. The region enjoys a maritime climate on the slops of Table Mountain, cooled by sea breezes from False Bay offering the perfect conditions for white wine varieties like Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Given the prime position of the area, this closely knit group of winemakers has honed a unique style of wine that can be considered a world-class benchmark.

Seven Constantia winemakers contributed their finest Sauvignon Blanc and barrel-fermented Semillon barrels to produce the Regional Series Constantia White 2021. A uniquely collaborative project designed to showcase a true expression of their regional signature style. A passionate believer in the power of wine regionality, Wade Bales, a négociant for the past 25 years, set out to identify the prime wine-growing areas in the Cape, and signature wine for each of these regions. Together with each region's best winemakers, he has sought to create wines that best express the region's unique character.
