Appealing stone fruit, apricot, and quince aromas. With a ripe, honeyed nuance. Vibrant freshness harmonises beautifully with a creamy richness from time in oak. The wood is beautifully integrated and adds lovely texture and mouthfeel. Restrained but generous and elegant. A pleasure to drink right now, the wine will benefit from time in the bottle reaching optimal drinking age in 3-5 years.

With layers of complexity, the wine shows stone fruit and citrus blossom on the nose. Time in the glass reveals tropical fruit, toasted almonds, and hints of asparagus. The palate has beautiful intensity. Lemon zest and white peach follow on the palate, supported by toasted oak and a touch of herbaceousness. The wine has a lovely long finish framed by fresh, natural acidity. Drinking beautifully now but will improve in the bottle for the next 3 to 5 years.

A subtle nose of restrained lemon zest and lemon leaf, with a light touch of dust and nettle. That lemony zip and vivacity is immediately apparent in the mouth. Succulent and fresh, the brightness balanced by a rich palate weight and texture indicative of time spent in oak. The seamlessly integrated wood portion doesn’t add flavour, just presence, and body.
