The Mira Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with briny, sour cheeses such as Goat's milk cheese, yogurt and Crème fraîche. It is also well matched with white meats such as chicken, salmon, sea bass and crab.

Winter started later than normal but rainfall was good during the season. Warmer than usual temperatures in July resulted in uneven bud break and smaller berries on certain cultivars. Temperature fluctuations in September and October resulted in uneven bunches however weather conditions improved in November. A warmer February resulted in earlier harvesting for certain cultivars. Rain and cool conditions in March slowed down ripening of red wine varietals, which were harvested at relatively low sugar levels.

At our cellar every individual berry is meticulously hand selected on our sorting table, ensuring only the very best are used for making our fine wines. Attention to detail is our focus, with the ultimate care taken for each and every grape.
