Description
Colour: Crimson red. Nose: The bouquet is expressive and layered, opening with blackcurrant, dark blue fruits and crushed wild berries, underscored by a subtle creamy richness. As the wine evolves in the glass, complex notes of tobacco leaf, black olive and cacao emerge, interwoven with earthy nuances and an increasingly perfumed floral character. With aeration, delicate hints of violet and lavender arise adding lift, complexity and aromatic intrigue. Palate: The palate is distinguished by its purity, elegance and composure. Layers of creamy dark fruit are complemented by delicate spice and a subtle thread of white pepper, while a dense, chalk-textured tannin structure provides persistence through the mid-palate. Beneath the fruit lies a compelling savoury dimension of forest floor, black olive and earthy complexity, lending further nuance and intrigue. With aeration, notes of lavender and rose water become increasingly pronounced, bringing fragrance and refinement. Bright acidity maintains freshness, culminating in a long, bone-dry finish of remarkable poise.
