Description
Colour: Ruby red. Nose: Savoury on the nose with salted dark chocolate cacao and red pastille fruit; pomegranate and maraschino cherry with aromatic freshly pressed petals as the wine opens. Palate: The palate is beautifully perfumed and floral with an elegant, creamy texture. There’s a savoury, fragrant quality with unfurling layers of herbal notes and candy floss that linger. A hint of wild fynbos and forest earthiness dance throughout, complementing the silky tannins and carry through the long, captivating finish.
Food Pairing
Bolder, warm climate Syrah pairs well with strongly flavoured foods. Slow roasted pork or steak with a blue cheese sauce pair well with full- bodied red wines.
