Sourced from 23-year-old trellised vines on southeastern slopes of the Helderberg property, the vineyards are rooted in coffee stone soils, contributing to the wine's unique profile. ​

Matured for 18 months in small French oak barrels, enhancing complexity and structure.

Grapes were harvested at optimal physiological ripeness, varying by vintage conditions. After crushing and a one-day cold soak, fermentation occurred in open concrete tanks with regular punch-downs over seven days. Malolactic fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matured for 18 months in 225-liter French oak barrels.
