Rascallion Wines is a joint venture between Ross Sleet and Wellington Wines. Description
The 2016 Rascallion 45 RPM Red Blend offers a vibrant bouquet of blackberry and sweet dark fruits, accented by hints of cloves and aniseed. On the palate, it is well-balanced with elegant, integrated tannins, leading to a smooth, long finish where olive and black fruit flavors linger.
Food Pairing
This wine's fruit-forward profile and subtle spice make it an excellent companion to Mediterranean dishes such as caponata and ragu. It also pairs well with slow-cooked stews of beef, lamb, or game meats, as well as casseroles rich in root vegetables and garlic.
