Wine farming and winemaking at Wonderfontein Wine Estate is an age-old tradition, dating back to 1884 and is home to the proud Marais legacy. Wine lovers are invited to savour five generations of progressive winemaking where proprietor Paul Marais,winemaker Stefan Bruwer and their committed teams today produce elegant, hand-crafted table wines, delectable Campanile brandy and complex fortified wines using modern winemaking equipment but with an old-world approach. Beautifully manicured vineyards are a feast for the eye and our vineyard practices are with a focus on environmentally-friendly viticulture. Description
The result is bubbly that is rich with citrus blossom and nougat flavour. Adding to its cystalline citrus quality, are lemon curd and orange notes. The bright limestone acidity holds this svelte wine taute and fresh with some bready and creamy notes on the finish.
