Wine farming and winemaking at Wonderfontein Wine Estate is an age-old tradition, dating back to 1884 and is home to the proud Marais legacy. Wine lovers are invited to savour five generations of progressive winemaking where proprietor Paul Marais,winemaker Stefan Bruwer and their committed teams today produce elegant, hand-crafted table wines, delectable Campanile brandy and complex fortified wines using modern winemaking equipment but with an old-world approach. Beautifully manicured vineyards are a feast for the eye and our vineyard practices are with a focus on environmentally-friendly viticulture. Description
A lovely hue or understated pink, upfront with detailed fine spicy notes and appealing green. The wine has a great balance and sophistication and opens up with expansive cherry and almond on the palate ending elegant and alluring and notes of grapefruit.
