Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Petite Chapelle

This wine pairs best with quite strong and sophisticated dishes, such as boeuf bourguignon, leg of lamb and most matured cheeses, except for blue cheese.

The vineyard « Petite Chapelle » is situated at the South of the village, close to Grands Crus « Chapelle Chambertin » and « Griotte Chambertin ». The soil is deep. The vineyards are very windy helping to produce good quality wines.

Aging takes place in oak barrels produced by our cooperage Cadus during 18 months. in oak barrels for 18-20 months.

Destemmed grapes ferment in vats during 3 to 4 weeks.
