A 4th Generation Family Owned and managed wine business, beginning in the year 1946. The Steytler Family celebrated 75 years on the Bottelary Hills based property in Stellenbosch in 2021 and the hand over from 3rd to 4th generation in 2022. The portfolio focuses predominantly on the production of Chenin blanc and Pinotage, across 3 ranges, showcasing a different style of each of these varietals in each range.
Description
Perched high in Bottelary the prevailing south-easter or ‘suidooster’ wind gusting off False Bay is fierce and unrelenting. As it carves its way around the granitic outcrops between the vines it delivers small berries, shaping a Shiraz with deep concentration and refinement.

Delicious served with deboned lamb shoulder with black olive and herb stuffing.
