Iona
Iona is the coolest vineyard in the Cape 420m above sea-level high above the picturesque Elgin Valley. It is surrounded by the Kogelberg Nature Reserve and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean in the South. In a country where cool sites are precious these vineyards are like gold — the grapes ripening up to two months later than other Cape vineyards and in perfect balance.

The 2025 Iona Sauvignon Blanc from Elgin showcases remarkable purity of fruit, with vibrant notes of lime, ripe gooseberry, and tropical nuances. Floral and fine herbal elements intertwine with ruby grapefruit and white pear drop on the finish. This cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc is characterized by its minerality, elegance, balance, and a long, layered, and complex finish.
